When you see the Soundcore VR P10 wireless earbuds and their name, these headphones seem only for fun video games. But don’t be fooled! Yes, they collaborated with Meta on Quest 2, but they can do much more than just this use. The VR P10 works with almost every big game console and platform. It has a mini-USB 2.4 GHz cable that makes it fast, with a low delay of under 30ms. These cost less and can be used by anyone playing games. They don’t need big, heavy headsets like before.
Anker says these gaming earbuds are the first to work with Meta's alone-standing VR headsets. These Soundcore VR P10 wireless earbuds are meant to be used with the Meta Quest 2. With under 30ms latency and a USB-C 2.4Ghz dongle, you can use them for gaming on any system. Use the USB-C stick to link with Meta Quest 2, Steam Deck, PICO 4, PS4, or PS5 game set. It can also be used with a computer or later versions of Switch play area devices.
Stay calm if you lose battery power. The dongle has a charge port to keep gamers playing without stopping all day. VR P10 has amazing tech and helpful options for a particular area of true wireless earbuds. If you like playing games, especially VR ones, these little headphones should be one of your best options. These earphones are hard to ignore because they sound good, feel good when worn, and have technology aimed at games.
The VR P10 offers great gaming features but has a fantastic battery life of 6 hours on one charge. It comes with a charging case that lasts for about 24 hours, too. With the fast charging feature, you get 1.5 hours of music when you charge them for 10 minutes.

Sound Quality and Performance
The sound of the VR P10 is excellent; it’s imposing for how much it costs. When we play games, the sound is clear and sharp. The middle and high sounds are nicely shown. However, Super Hearing from Soundcore strengthens the strong base over mids and highs. This thing is made for action games in the FPS style. It helps players hear stuff like steps and shots even more. Game Rant suggests that Super Hearing should be turned off for a level EQ.
But it helps those first-person shooter players searching for a significant competition edge. The Soundcore Liberty 4 NC has an automatic EQ setting, but there is no similar feature with Super Hearing turned off. Instead, users can adjust the sound manually using an 8-band EQ.
Sadly, Game Rant could not try these earphones with the Meta Quest Pro 2, but they were used a lot with a Nintendo Switch and for PC gaming work. Since the Switch doesn’t have Bluetooth for headphones, using them is annoying as they must be plugged in. This often means having a wire that gets in front of your screen and is bothersome to manage. But VR P10 earbuds made it easy to play Switch games while wearing headphones. They also charge using a USB-C port to continue playing without interruptions.
They’re not made for sports, but you can use them for fast walks in the neighborhood. They won’t fall out quickly, but be careful during sports activities. In the Soundcore app, you can change and adjust how well you want the controls to work. The glowing lines on each bud (three diagonal lines) can be changed between five colors in the app.
This feature is also switchable using the app. If shiny ears are not your preference, you can switch them off and save some battery time.
Battery Life of Soundcore VR P10
Anker says that earbuds can work for around 6 hours if fully charged. The extra charge in the case gives you two more days, or 18 hours, before needing to find a place to plug it in and get power again, making it last 24 hours. Considering the time spent playing it, VR P10s are about as good as the upcoming AirPods Pro.
However, you get more battery power with AirPods than with P10s. In actual, hands-on terms, it is more than what you require. In real life, I didn’t need to take out the earbuds at any time because they were charged. I’m a heavy VR user. Since they came, I’ve been using the VR P10s each time during my sessions. They have always lasted longer than me in these times. The case tells you lots of times when it’s time to put in a charger. I only did this about once weekly.
The charging case is round-shaped, and the top can be opened like a clam shell’s lid. It’s a matte white. The charging case for the VR P10 from Soundcore differs from anything we have seen. Before, you used to place your Soundcore logo in the center, and then toward the lower part, you had some color-changing lights. This made it look like a gaming device from those times on the bottom. You use a special type C plug for charging. It’s on the back, and you can also connect to Bluetooth by pressing a button.
Design and Comfort
It’s difficult to find anything wrong when discussing how the VR P10 looks. These headphones look stylish in white. Their outside part with three rows of color-changing lights adds just the right touch. They’re outlined in silver for a perfect finish. The lighting on these earbuds for games is better than usual. It doesn’t look as bright or intense as it often does in gaming and is just right.
Even when you’re on the bus or walking in public places, this VR P10 headset used for gaming doesn’t scream out loud that it is specifically designed for online games. The big charging case means these earbuds will make your pocket stand out. It’s okay because the wallet also fits the USB-C radio dongle. Everything feels like it belongs and is well-matched with the stylish look of Meta Quest 2.
The P10 earbuds for virtual reality are easy to wear. However, this level may vary among different ways of enjoying these games. We tested these in other circumstances, like playing games, walking, and listening to music. The VR P10 didn’t fall off or cause pain when worn in all those situations. Since these earbuds don’t have ANC, they don’t feel like earplugs when you use them. Sounds around are still in your ears but not bothersome.
The Soundcore Anker VR P10 Wireless Earbuds are a good choice for people who want true wireless earphones that are easy to wear and have many valuable things inside. They don’t get tangled like others can sometimes when strung together with many wires connecting each. Also, all these things are good to use when you’re walking around, but it’s even better for your pretend reality experience.
Controls & Play
Each touch control is divided into three gestures: One tap, two taps close together, and a tap that lasts long. You can break them down even more. There are six touch controls; you can use the left or right ear for each.
There are a total of eight different touch controls:
- Play / Pause
- Volume +
- Volume –
- Next
- Previous
- Microphone
- Voice Assistant
- Super Hearing
The Soundcore app (available at Apple App Store and Google Play Store) can change the various settings for controls. Make sure that you remember exactly what each command does, as many different ones are available. I found out the hard way that there’s a learning curve for this task.
Gaming-Focused Features of Soundcore VR P10
These earbuds give a fake surround sound for VR. They are worth getting if you spend lots of time in VR. The Game Mode and Talk Mode make them useful for anyone spreading their time into the exciting virtual reality. But still, there are many other excellent qualities, too. The Game and Talk feature helps you answer your phone without stopping the game. But it also blocks sound from coming through. So, little kids in “Gun Raiders” can’t tease you anymore for talking on the phone with your spouse.
Another good thing is “Super Hearing,” a unique sound that makes fast footsteps and loud gunfire more noticeable. This is almost like cheating for people who mostly play games where you first shoot.
It kept me from getting surprised by someone once or twice. Funnily, my footsteps are just as loud as jetpacks in some games. But the most significant benefit is no delay in hearing audio. All things go on right away, so gamers can respond fast. It is good because too many Bluetooth connections have built-in delays. I’ve tried many earbuds with the Quest 2, which provides some of the best sound in a VR system I’ve ever heard.
Passive Noise Cancellation
The Soundcore P10 doesn’t have active noise cancellation but supports passive noise cancellation. You find three ear tip sizes, but you must check it with the right size ear tips so you can feel more comfortable while enjoying music. The box has small, middle, and extensive opportunities for you. You get good noise reduction by selecting the right size without actively trying.
The earbuds that fit in your ear cut off some noise quite well. This helps make the music sound better by eliminating outside sounds and distractions. The dedicated software allows it to update its firmware, adjust EQ settings, and more. Create a profile, and you can start right away. I hope Soundcore fixes the software to make a noise when your earbuds are worn. I like this feature on my Samsung Galaxy Buds and would want it here, too.
Connectivity
The linking part is essential in organizing a smooth sound show. These earbuds use Bluetooth 5.0 technology, a great tech that holds your audio source strong, and nothing goes wrong with it. This ensures your audio always works, so it doesn’t stop abruptly. You can enjoy non-stop music or podcasts without any problems. The Connectivity power of the VR P10 earbuds shows their promise to make you have a good time with your device.
Using Bluetooth 5.0 tech, VR P10 earbuds do more than connect. They make music sound natural and balanced for a better listening experience. The bass, especially, gets a little attention. It gives a great boom but only covers the small sounds of other parts.
Learning about VR P10 earbuds’ Connectivity doesn’t just mean having a solid connection or great sound. It means the person who uses them can enjoy their daily life even more. Whether you’re busy playing games, talking in work calls, or listening to music for fun, the Bluetooth 5.0 technology helps connect earbuds to where you’re hearing sound. It always works well, so people don’t have any issues when they want their audio source near them, which helps them fit easily into people’s different lives without any problems.
The Connectivity of Soundcore VR P10 Gaming Earbuds will give more than just technical information. They’re reliable and let you listen to music without any distractions, making sure every sound, drum beat, or loud noise comes out clear and perfect. With these Airpods, you get a quality sound like never before.
Water Resistance
Soundcore VR P10 Gaming Earbuds are a strong player. They have excellent new parts that join together to make a great-sounding experience. The earbuds’ good feature is that they are water-resistant and can handle rain or sweat. It makes them practical for everyday use because they won’t be damaged easily.
Gamers who like to play a lot know that hard game-playing often leads to sweat. The earbuds have a water-resistant rating, IPX4. This makes them able to handle this usual problem very well. Whether in a fast-paced fight or trying to get through the significant parts of a game, your earbuds can easily keep water out. It lets you keep all your attention on gaming without any interruptions.
The nice part of the water-resistant design (IPX4) is that it can blend well with playing games. People can play games without worry, not bothered by environmental issues that might otherwise harm their playing. Even if it’s a quick rain shower or a long gaming session, the earbuds don’t move. They make sure that your listening experience is easy and always works well. The water-resistant feature of the Soundcore VR P10 Gaming Earbuds makes them strong and able to fight against rain or other wet stuff. This helps make gaming sound like a tough friend that can brave most weather.
